About Me

Loving life (and trying to remember it) with these three boys.

2.

Enough said.  I can't believe this boy is two already.  He is absolutely the most stubborn of our three boys.  Very independent and with a mind of his own.  He is also a lover (when he wants to be), and can instantly melt our hearts.  And lucky for him, he is cute enough to get away with it all.

The birthday boy woke up to balloons in his crib.

We were planning to spend Charley's birthday morning at the zoo, but Wanda called to see if we wanted to take the boys ziplining instead.  What better way to celebrate a 2-year-old's birthday, right?  Apparently, if you are a Mathison boy!

Jack was the first one down and wanted to go again, and again!

Looking a little apprehensive....
Abe was so ready to go!
Charley looked terrified while he was going down, but as soon as we got him unbuckled and into my arms, he grinned and said "So fun!"

We were blessed to spend the evening with family.... Mom and John, the Renners, the Hardys, Rebekah and Sarah Jane.  We definitely missed our Colorado and California contingent, but someday!  It was a great time.  Charley has been obsessed with motorcycles lately, and he told Grandma Connie he wanted a dinosaur birthday, so we compromised.

Feeling a little shy during the Birthday song
Trying to blow those candles out

Hitting that pinata!

And finally to bed with his motorcycles.
So blessed to have this little boy as part of our family.  He brings smiles, and laughter, and a lot of bullying to our lives!
