So blessed to be married to this man. Since we were given the greatest anniversary gift 5 years ago, we really haven't done much celebrating on our anniversary. In fact, with the exception of our half marathon trip two years ago, we really haven't celebrated at all. And we both firmly believe that our marriage should be celebrated. So, we've decided that the weekend following our anniversary will be when we celebrate, at least until Jack doesn't care to spend his birthday evening with us anymore (doubtful that will ever happen, considering how cool we are).
So Mom kept the boys overnight, and we had a lovely dinner at French Toast, followed by a 2-hour discussion with our small group, and then we went to a late movie. Ok, we didn't actually make the movie because we were so tired, but we wanted to.
The next morning we woke up and took George for a run to the Heights to get some coffee. The coffee was for us, not him. Then church, lunch, and a trip to Lowes. It's rather fitting that we wrapped up our anniversary at the place we spent most of our dating relationship. I love this man and am so grateful God blessed me with him.
