Three must be the "ism" age, because I have a lot of Abeisms and Jackisms at this age also. This kid cracks me up. If he isn't making me crazy, he is making me laugh.

We've been working on letter of the week in preschool. At the beginning of the year, while we were waiting in the doctor's office (for a diagnosis of hand, foot, and mouth - ugh), I was quizzing the boys on "A." What begins with "A?" Jack, right off the bat, "alligator." Good.
"Charley, can you tell me something that starts with 'A?'"
Charley: "Ummmmmm"
Me: "How about something round that you LOVE to eat? A, a (making the short A sound)...."
Charley: "A, a, a......... Pancake!"
We're still working that one.......

"Mommy, no matter what you do, I will always love you."
************
We were playing Memory the other night, Charley cracked his knuckles before his turn. Memory shark?

We've been going over fire safety the past week, and at lunch time we were reviewing.
Me: "Boys, in case of a fire, what is the most important thing for you to do?
Charley: "Don't. Get. Dead."
Excellent.

In the car last night, the boys were discussing college (both what it is and where they would go) and decided on their future careers. Abe, engineer like Dad. Jack, jet racer or astronaut. Charley........... a lion.
*************
Last night we were playing a friendly game of "Sequence for Kids." I really don't think Charley grasps the concept of the game at all, but he did pick up on the lingo. He and Abe were on a team, and after every play, in an outraged tone, he'd say "Abe, did they block us?!?"
*************
Then tonight, Jack said "Mommy, who do you like better, Daddy or God?"
Charley: "Jack, God can fly." (Duh). "God's word is truth. If he tells you not to eat from the apple tree, don't do it."
