It was a rainy, miserable Halloween this year. And the boys were under the weather, especially Charley. In fact, this picture pretty much sums up Charley's attitude that day.
We managed to trick-or-treat Grandma, who made the awesome costumes (she intended to make Charley the full batman costume until he decided he wanted to be SpiderBatMan), and my brother. Then we dropped off a birthday present to my Aunt and headed home to trick or treat our neighborhood. But when we pulled in, it was pouring rain..... so we had hot chocolate and watched a movie.
And everyone was happy, especially Charley, who had been asking to go home since we left Grandma's. I wasn't too bummed since I know they'll get plenty of good out of the costumes anyway, and since we only had two visitors, we had plenty of leftover candy. There's always next year.......
