We have a spice drawer, which also houses some pens and miscellaneous "extras." While I like to think it is a little more organized and less cluttered than the average "junk" drawer, I was defeated in this line of thinking by my 5-year-old.
I asked him to hand me a pen out of the drawer, so he opened it and said "Man, Mommy -- there are ALWAYS new treasures in this drawer!" It's all a matter of perspective, I guess...... and now I better get that drawer "nested!"
Amidst the chaos, there is peace. Well, not really peace, but lots of laughter.
