We love our time with Grandma and Poppy, and though it was a little short on time this visit, it wasn't short on fun! These boys keep them busy from sun up (if they wait that long) 'till well after sun down. They even talked them into a nook slumber party one of the nights (pretty sure Dar and I had the best night of sleep by far that night -- picture four people in a sleeper sofa). We are so grateful they make the drive to see us so often. It is a wonderful feeling that even though we live so far away, our kids know and love Grandma and Grandpa so much. From digging in the dirt, to flying kites, to playing Twister, to getting locked in the nook, it is nonstop action here. An especially wonderful perk was that Dar and I got to go swim together (that's another post), run together, stop by a friend's surprise party, and attend our small group sans kids. They were short outings, but we treasured the time together, and are grateful for the little moments.
