Charley.... pre haircut

Charley has crazy hair..... always has.  We've never really cut his hair, but thought it might be time.  So, we decided to give these boys some summer haircuts.

I got the itch after Charley's nap today and got a little scissor-happy.  Not terrible, but I did encourage Dar to wrap up his golf game so he could "fix" it before Charley went to bed.

Charley looks so much like Jack in this picture.

And this is the finished product:

We bribe our children through haircuts with icy pops.

This kid has A LOT of hair.

He did NOT like being itchy.

And Abe wanted his as short as his brothers.  He was pretty apprehensive about us cutting Charley's hair.  It was so sweet.

Looking so old... only one more week of 1st grade.   How is that possible?

He looks handsome with any haircut!

All of these boys have seriously thick hair.  This is the pile from just one of them!

Thank goodness for Dar!  He is the master barber in this house.  Takes after Grandpa Alvin, I guess.  And Grandma Bernie.  :)
