Oh how I love this boy! I can't believe he is 9 months old already. We adore his personality. He is so sweet and so stubborn, though this picture makes him look pretty mild and innocent! He has this crazy hair that won't lie down. We love it. He has 7 teeth. He wants to stand up on his own, but can't quite yet; nonetheless, he gets really annoyed by your hands holding him up -- he tries to push them away. He loves taking baths with his brothers, is sleeping in with the big boys now, and sleeps much better. Charley usually goes to bed at 6:30 and sleeps until about 4:30. Then he is ravenous, nurses, and goes back to bed for about an hour. We'd like him to sleep a little later, so he wouldn't need a morning nap so early, but hate to complain now that we are getting a solid chunk of uninterrupted sleep. It's blissful.
Charley loves food, has great pinching abilities to pick up anything and everything little, and has been blessed with his Daddy's dancing skills. He moves his whole body when he hears anything resembling music. He has recently started trying to keep up with his brothers, eating cutie for cutie (Jack ate at least six of those little oranges the other night).
We are enjoying Charley so much and are excited to see him move to the next stage. It's hard to believe that before too long, we'll have another little boy running laps in this house!
